Brian & Kathleen {Married}

Mississippi Museum of Art –  {Jackson Mississippi}

– Scrabble + Art!

Kathleen : One word to describe Brian: genius
Brian: One word to describe Kathleen: classic

How did you two meet? We met on Kathleen’s first day of college at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, through a mutual friend who was Brian’s roommate (and later best man in the wedding). Kathleen was a freshman, Brian a sophomore.

What’s the engagement story? After New Year’s Day 2011, Brian suggested a dinner out. Thinking nothing of it, Kathleen agreed. Brian picked her up in the same spot that they first said, “I love you,” all those years ago, got down on one knee, and the rest is history (as they say).

Tell us about the wedding day and what you planned? We knew we wanted a big celebration with as many family and friends we could round up, in an unconventional setting, with great food and lots of dancing. We decided on the Mississippi Museum of Art, a beautiful, modern building in downtown Jackson. So many creative people lent their time and talents to pull the day off. A great friend and her mother and sister did all the floral arrangements, another friend made the wedding cake and Kathleen’s mom’s best friend acted as wedding coordinator. Kathleen made all the save the dates, invitations and programs. Everywhere we looked, we could see the efforts of friends and family to make the day amazing.

One word to describe the married life: fun!

LOOOOOVVVVE  THIS WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!!
